Study below about compounds in Triphala, at the end of the
Foreword.

When I started taking Ayurvedic compounds, a year ago, I had little faith , no understanding of how it worked, and was not interested in diet, and meditation even though, I had done meditation
a few years earlier, found it beneficial - SIGNIFICANTLY so!! to the point of being able to control my heart rhythm.

I still have no understanding of Ayurvedic Medicine. But, I can report that the healing experience brought on by prescribed compounds, is supported by blood tests and investigations (but then again those tests are very limited). This is not placebo, or coincidence. I have been ill from multiple ADRs for over ten years, mostly homebound/bedridden, and a stint in a wheelchair.

The healing process resulted in a total change in consciousness, brought on by experiencing the therapeutic effects of those compounds, whilst seeking to understand how Ayurvedic Medicine works, by reading about it in depth, and trying desperately to alter my diet accordingly.

The shift in consciousness, brought me closer to understanding what HEALING means, on cellular level, and that it takes TIME, and motivation to assist in your own HEALING. AVOIDING at all costs, DNA damage from meds, MRIs, Xrays, scans, RF from EMF etc.... I am at last physically feeling the effect of cells rebuilding.

Lastly, the Ayurvedic way, reinforced my convictions concerning allopathic medicine. IT DOES NOT WORK, is solely profit based, little science and no substance.

Even if I had not "discovered" Ayurveda, I had read enough "research" about allopathic medicine from medical and science journals, to feel utter contempt at the arrogance and skewed research and so much conjecture based on a mechanical way, materialistic of how physiology & biochemistry works.

It takes literally decades for the medical establishment to alter wrong assumptions, and moreover, oppose any other view points to protect their own interests and industry, rather than the patients.

A good example of this - Dr Hulda Clark and before her, other scientists, at the beginning of the last Century, showed, that many cancers originated from bacteria and viruses. They were cast aside, ridiculed whilst the establishment went on a witch hunt of such scientists, destroying their careers in the process, leaving them with no credibility.

Similar is happening with scientists showing evidence of how toxicity affects mitochondria, methylation, free radicals increase etc... for over 30 years!!! So many illnesses could have been erased, and so many patients could have benefited. Instead, more illness, more disability, unnecessary more deaths, and more money for Big Pharma.

There is no doubt that in life and death situation, some type of surgery may be life saving, but even then, there will be consequences, even, if not immediate, somewhere along the line, from meds, anesthetics, etc...

Although it is not necessary to meditate, it will assist in healing, there is little doubt of that. It oxygenates cells, brings down BP, promotes release of good hormones, whilst reducing toxic hormones and its effects, reduces CNS, realigns alpha, beta and other brain waves etc... I started again, today, and will try to keep this up.

Below is a study, amongst many concerning compounds from two fruits used in Triphala, which I have been taking daily for a year, except for a few weeks breaks. It even cleared the toxins from my eyes, I no longer need to wear reading glasses!! All my posts have been consistent concerning Triphala and my experience with Ayurvedic Medicine, I wish I started years ago, when first floxed!!

No matter how much analysis or research is done in the West about compounds in fruits and vegetables, there are limitations as to healing compounds. Far too much importance and credits are atributed to those tests, when Triphala has stood the test of time, for over 4000 years.....

Abstract (provisional)

Background

Cellular damage caused by reactive oxygen species (ROS) has been implicated in several diseases, and hence natural antioxidants have significant importance in human health. The present study was carried out to evaluate the in vitro antioxidant and reactive oxygen species scavenging activities of Terminalia chebula, Terminalia belerica and Emblica officinalis fruit extracts.
Methods

The 70% methanol extracts were studied for in vitro total antioxidant activity along with phenolic and flavonoid contents and reducing power. Scavenging ability of the extracts for radicals like DPPH, hydroxyl, superoxide, nitric oxide, hydrogen peroxide, peroxynitrite, singlet oxygen, hypochlorous acid were also performed to determine the potential of the extracts.
Results

The ability of the extracts of the fruits in exhibiting their antioxative properties follow the order T. chebula > E. officinalis > T. belerica. The same order is followed in their flavonoid content, whereas in case of phenolic content it becomes E. officinalis > T. belerica > T. chebula. In the studies of free radicals' scavenging, where the activities of the fruit extracts were inversely proportional to their IC50 values, T. chebula and E. officinalis were found to be taking leading role with the orders of T. chebula > E. officinalis > T. belerica for superoxide and nitric oxide, and E. officinalis > T. belerica > T. chebula for DPPH and peroxynitrite radicals.

Miscellaneous results were observed in the scavenging of other radicals by the fruit extracts, viz., T. chebula > T. belerica > E. officinalis for hydroxyl, T. belerica > T. chebula > E. officinalis for singlet oxygen and T. belerica > E. officinalis > T. chebula for hypochlorous acid. In a whole, the studied fruit extracts showed quite good efficacy in their antioxidant and radical scavenging abilities, compared to the standards.

Conclusions

The evidences as can be concluded from the study of the 70% methanol extract of the fruits of Terminalia chebula, Terminalia belerica and Emblica officinalis, imposes the fact that they might be useful as potent sources of natural antioxidant.
