On a personal level, suffer from being ostracized by family, friends, medical community, alienation, massive financial losses, and social isolation.
I am still mostly homebound through periods of being bedbound. I had to give up law school through worsening symptoms, in particular severe weakness and severe cognition dysfunction.
Through the health quest journey, I made new friends, who in spite of adversities caused by their ADRs, shine through, resilient, strong, sharing the common goal on this journey. They are an inspiring bunch!!
For those of you hit by Lariam, Fluoroquinolones and/or other pharmaceuticals, keep hope, keep informed, keep searching what works for you. Few are hit severely, aim for recovery.
Posts will resume on ADR-Central and Health Quest in between relapses.
